Classes at Tooting Common

​

Evening classes at the Common are:​

  • Mondays and Thursdays 6:30pm

  • Near Dr Johnson Avenue Carpark

​

Morning classes at the Common are:​

  • Fridays 7:30am

  • Near Elmbourne Road

​

All classes are:

  • Catered to all fitness levels

  • On whatever the weather (sessions will be adapted accordingly)

  • Designed to be challenging, results orientated and fun at the same time

Bring water, option to bring a mat and I advise trail shoes for wetter weather.​

Prices start from £10 to Pay As You Go, and there are various packages you can choose for extra savings.

FAQ's

Are classes suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! I can give options for people totally new to exercise as well as those who are looking to advance. You can also take as many breaks as you need.

Where do we meet for classes?

We meet at Tooting Common near Dr Johnson Avenue Carpark (free parking) in the evenings, and nearer Elmbourne Road in the mornings (street parking, check signs if payment required)

Can I start training at any point?

Yes! This isn't a course of classes so start whenever you like. 4 week packages do not need to start at the beginning of the month. Keep your eyes peeled for various promotions that may have a start and end date. 

When do packages expire? 

Expiry dates depend on packages purchased. All info will be in each package and after purchase it will show you the expiry date.

Can I bring a friend?

The more the merrier! The 2, 5 and 10 packs can be shared with friends. 

What if it's raining?

Then we get wet! Classes will still be on so it's up to you if you'd like to come to class.

What do we do with our bags?

How do I book onto classes?

Go to the Book Classes tab and click on the links. This will take you to the Gym Catch website. You will need to create an account with them, then search for Helengpt (no spaces). Classes and packages are easily booked within 3 clicks. I recommend downloading the Gymcatch app for ease on the go.

Can I train if I am pregnant?

Assuming you were exercising before you were pregnant, and your GP has said it's OK to do so then yes. I am pre and post natal qualified so can give you alternative exercises.

Can I turn up to a class on the day?

No, classes must be booked in advance please.

We will leave our bags just near where we meet. We are always near, and I always keep my eyes on the things. I've never known anything to get taken but it is left at your own risk.

What should I bring to classes?

Bring water!

You may want to bring a mat or towel for any floor work

I recommend trail shoes (with grip) for wet weather.

In winter, wear lots of layers.

Are there classes at the weekend?

I aim to do one weekend class a month, and I donate 50% of money received to charity. Otherwise, I have my FIT Plans or do an online video at home. Tooting Bec also has a free Park Run every Saturday at 9am. And of course, there are lots of other fitness providers near by.
